Using this Street Light Controller Kit, we have made a system that works like an automatic street light. In this, we have used an LDR light-dependent resistor that tells day and night. If it is night then this system will turn on the light automatically and as soon as it is morning the light will turn off automatically. The sensitiveness of the light can be adjusted. The circuit thus saves electrical power as well as manpower. The principle involves the detection of the Intensity Of Light with help of LDR which changes the value of resistance across it based on light. This principle is used in various applications.

An Automatic Street Light System is very common nowadays as it provides intelligent street lighting mechanisms. It provides light automatically during the night without any human interference. These energy-saving street lights make use of incandescent lamps instead of LEDs. So here I will teach you how to make an electronic circuit for street light automation.
