Raindrops Detection Sensor Module with 12V Relay

The Raindrops Detection Sensor Module is designed for rain detection and measuring rainfall intensity. It converts rainwater presence into digital and analog output signals that can be used in weather monitoring systems and automation projects.

The module includes a nickel-plated FR-04 sensor board that collects raindrops. As water accumulates, the board’s resistance decreases, resulting in a lower voltage output. A completely dry board outputs maximum voltage (approx. 5V on the analog pin). The included 12V relay module can directly control external devices like motors, pumps, alarms, or other systems, making it ideal for automatic weather response projects.

Sensitivity can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer. The module features LM393 voltage comparator, LED indicators for power and output status, and mounting holes for easy installation.
